After handing out two more Hero character cards, the first gathering came to an end.

"Everyone, our next gathering will be on Thursday afternoon!"

"During Defense Against the Dark Arts class."

"You may choose for yourselves: come here to study on your own, or attend Defense Against the Dark Arts class?"

Seeing that everyone was pleased with the results of self-study, Li Wei gave them a choice.

Come here to study on their own?

Or listen to Lockhart's pointless lessons?

Hearing the choice Li Wei had placed before them, everyone exchanged glances before answering in unison:

"Don't worry, Li Wei. We've had enough of Lockhart already! Of course we'll come here to study on our own!"

Yet Li Wei did not entirely believe them and solemnly reminded them:

"Everyone, no matter what you choose, remember to keep this secret."

"Even if you don't come here to study next time, or if you want to invite others to join, be careful to keep everyone's secret and don't reveal it carelessly!"

"All right, everyone. There's no one in the corridor now, so this gathering is dismissed for the time being. You're all welcome to come again next Thursday!"

At his words, the young wizards reluctantly dispersed from the Room of Requirement, already resolved that at the next gathering, they absolutely would not attend Lockhart's useless class and would come here to study on their own instead.
