Besides that, Li Wei had not forgotten his original purpose in creating the Tower Spirit: to assist his research into bloodlines and genes.

But only after truly creating the Tower Spirit did Li Wei realize that, compared to assisting with research, what he needed to do first was collect enough data to supply it as material for analysis.

The Tower Spirit's computational and processing abilities were indeed powerful enough.

But without sufficient data to support it, it could not fully serve its purpose.

"At the end of the day, all kinds of magical experiments and research can't rely entirely on the Tower Spirit. It's merely a machine that helps me skip vast amounts of complex calculations and repetitive mechanical work!"

Li Wei did not rush to issue Tower Spirit One a task sequence for bloodline and genetic research.

Instead, he designed a new type of Magic Construct and had the Magic Construct production line in the Room of Requirement manufacture it.

He named this type of Magic Construct the Knowledge Collector. It resembled a palm-sized little spider.

Aside from its eight spider legs, which allowed it to crawl across bookshelves and all sorts of terrain, its most important feature was its eight eyes, which could scan the knowledge in books like scanners.

Once the Knowledge Collectors had been manufactured, Li Wei issued Tower Spirit One a task: at night, it was to control the Knowledge Collectors, enter Hogwarts's library, gather the knowledge within, and store it as data for future analysis.

He even planned to sneak into the British Library someday and scan every book in the entire library!
