He truly did not want to become the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, but that was only because they had not settled the terms yet!

Now that he had cut off Headmaster Dumbledore's line of argument, he could discuss terms with him. If the conditions were acceptable, becoming a professor was not entirely out of the question.

Ever since Li Wei had founded the Secret Society and driven out Gilderoy Lockhart during the first half of the school year, the points earned by his Professor MOD had grown worse by the day.

The reason was that after Grindelwald became the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, there was a proper channel for learning, and the Magical Society had turned into an after-school study group.

The young wizards learned everything they needed in class, so the society no longer produced teaching results. Li Wei could not receive excellent evaluations from the system, and his points gradually dwindled.
