Lessons Learned

The river water pounded against his ears with a crashing roar. Wells swallowed several mouthfuls of water and struggled to swim away.

But before he could move his arms, the water around him began spinning rapidly, sending him into a dizzying whirl!

"Splash!"

A great mass of river water, along with Wells, was transported by special Floo Powder to the classroom entrance.

It looked as though Wells had been thrown out of the classroom's portal.

"Pfft!"

Wells spat out a mouthful of river water, wiped his face, and stared blankly at the smiling Li Wei before him and the classmates around him, whose expressions were complicated.

"I... I'm back?!"

He asked tremblingly, his voice filled with the wild joy and disbelief of someone who had survived a disaster.

"Actually, you only needed to shout 'Quit.' There was no need to jump into the river," Li Wei said with a grin, helpfully reminding Wells of what he had just gone through.

"So everything I experienced before was part of the test?"

Wells was no fool. The moment he heard Li Wei's words, he realized that he had been undergoing a test the entire time and had never left Hogwarts!

Still, the test had been far too terrifying!

"Lee Wickens, you actually dared to create an Inferius! Have you lost your mind?!

I'm telling Professor McGonagall!!!"

After coming to his senses and reviewing what had happened, his face went pale before he roared in fury.

"Relax, relax," Li Wei said, quickly waving his hands and explaining,

"Do you think I'm an idiot?

Would I knowingly create an Inferius, then brazenly show it off in a test?

It was just a Golem I made. Though it was admittedly a little scary!"
