Both structures were fairly Rare, especially the former. As far as he knew, he was currently the only person with that building module. But however Rare a structure was, unless it was unique, someone else would eventually have it too.
So he needed to expand the network as quickly as possible.
Then, even if someone wanted to steal his business, they would not be able to.

They could not possibly recoup it in the short term. Besides, producing so many eerie stones at once would be difficult.
