The remaining few looked at each other.
Marvin gave the order. "Old Fatty, stay behind. Elliot, let's go. The survivors can rest here."
"Got it, Marvin." The fat officer obeyed.
"Um, is he... is he really the savior?" Old Man Kendo finally interjected hesitantly. "I haven't had the chance to thank him yet."
"It won't be too late to thank him when he comes back. You can thank him together with your daughter once she's recovered." Marvin helped place Kendo's daughter on a stretcher.
"But... are you really going to be okay, breaking into Umbrella Laboratory with just the few of you?" Duncan had his doubts.
Officer Elliot said, "Mr. Leon is so strong. Nothing could happen to him."
"Still, we aren't actually sure whether he's the savior. That's just too unbelievable."
"But we believe in him," the fat officer cut in.
Marvin stepped out from behind the medical partition. "Come on, Elliot. Let's catch up."
The two officers, one Black and one white, drew their pistols and followed them into the underground passage.
Ada Wong watched silently from the side. Only after the two officers vanished did she suddenly speak. "Looks like you all got along pretty well earlier."
"Of course. The moment we arrived, that unbelievable armor and Freeze Breath scared the hell out of us. Hahaha." The fat officer sat on the sofa.
"But you don't seem to mind being left behind alone?" Ada Wong glanced toward the underground passage.
"The station needs someone to hold it down too." The fat officer frowned. "Sounds like you disagree, ma'am?"
Ada walked gracefully and slowly to the passage entrance. "No disagreement. I just need to say goodbye to you all for now as well."
She waved, braced herself against the passageway, ducked inside, and swiftly disappeared from everyone's sight.
