Chapter Summaries

Leon recounted his past to Diana and Kara, but when they pressed him about his many relationships, he blamed Tony for shaping his outlook on women. The chapter ended with Tony and JARVIS accepting Leon’s fabricated story as a real accusation.

• Batman’s group hid beneath the sand as armed, locust-like creatures flew overhead, then resumed their journey toward nearby ruins.
• Cyborg urged Batman to hurry, while Mera accused him of running from revenge for Arthur’s death; Batman said they were seeking Black Adam because Barry was dead and Diana had left that lead.

Leon reunited with Batman’s resistance, learned that Barry had died and that the rebooted world’s history had diverged, and heard how Superman’s rise and death led to Darkseid’s invasion. Batman ended his account with Luthor opening another Boom Tube, beginning a new disaster.
