Galacta mistook Eternity and the other Abstract Concept Entities’ return to their conceptual forms for a sacrifice and wanted to help save the universe, but Leon explained what had really happened. With the entities’ concepts integrated into the Divine Kingdom Dimension, Leon accelerated its consumption of the Mutant Universe and realized it could become a real universe once it gained enough energy.

• Galacta asked Leon if she should sacrifice herself to help save the universe, and Leon pointed out that she was not an M-Body and was meant to destroy things.

• Leon created and then turned back grass people as he tested his growing abilities, concluding that he still needed inspiration to reach Silver Superman.
• Leon traveled from the Marvel Universe to DC Earth-One, where he found Clark Kent watching a scientist experiment with Kryptonite.
• The Kryptonite experiment exploded, and Superman was blasted into a desert and knocked unconscious.
• Leon gathered the blood scattered from Superman and identified it as a sample from Silver Superman at his peak.
• Leon recalled that a spiritual energy from the Quark Dimension would steal one-third of Superman’s power and combine with the sand to create the Sand Superman.

Leon helped Silver Superman recover some of the power absorbed by sand, but Superman chose to give most of it to the emerging Sand Superman rather than erase the new life. After Sand Superman returned to his dimension, Leon departed, leaving Superman in the desert.

• Leon pulled the sand holding Superman's stolen power from beneath him and guided the energy back toward the waking Superman.
• Superman learned that his power and energy from the Quark Dimension had created a new life, and he refused to reclaim all of it because he feared killing that life.

Leon arrived on Earth-33 to study young Superboy-Prime’s genes and decided to guide him before he gained his powers. He befriended Clark by offering to teach him kung fu, then moved into the Kent home as Clark’s mentor.
