"For now, we can't find any testing equipment that can fully withstand your strongest punch!"
"We'll have to change methods and use multidimensional data to estimate an approximate value!" Tony always had flexible solutions.
"What do you need me to do?" Leon asked.
"Exerting force in midair shouldn't affect your condition, right?"
"It won't. I have a Biological Force Field!"
After Tony finished calibrating all the equipment, he spoke over the radio.
"Then fly up, like Superman pushing an asteroid, and push down on that testing device!"
"This won't test your punching power, but it can test your lifting strength."
"Afterward, we'll test your punching speed. JARVIS can then combine the data and roughly calculate the force behind your punch."
"Okay!" Leon rose into the air, flipped upside down, and pressed both hands against the iron pedestal.
"I'm about to start exerting force!"
"Remember to use all your strength!"
"Of course!"
Leon's gaze sharpened. The muscles throughout his body swelled as he pushed downward with all his might.
Tony's side immediately reacted.
Almost instantly, the number on the screen jumped to nine digits, startling him.
The data continued skyrocketing until Leon let out a roar in the distance. Only then did it stop rising and begin fluctuating.
"That's enough!" Tony's voice trembled slightly.
"Whew..." Leon exhaled. "How much pushing force did I produce?"
Tony swallowed. "Three hundred and seventy million kilograms—three hundred and seventy thousand tons. JARVIS estimates that your single-arm strength should be between one hundred and forty thousand and one hundred and ninety thousand tons."
"That high?" Even Leon could not help being surprised.
That truly was no small number.
When the Man of Steel Superman first appeared in the DC movies, his stated strength was only eight hundred thousand tons.
Although that had been his early stage, when he had not fully developed yet, he had still soaked up sunlight for over twenty years.
Leon had only been under the sun for a little over half a year.
Besides, strength like this was already enough for him to be practically invincible on Earth.
But...
"It's still not enough." Leon clenched his fist. "Earth is only a small pond. There are countless giants beyond it. I still have a long way to go, and I need to keep finding ways to grow stronger!"
On the other end, Tony rolled his eyes at Leon's muttering.
This display of humblebragging even left him without the mood to argue. He simply operated the computer and began the next test.
"Next is the punching speed test. Throw a punch at the highest speed you think you can withstand during combat!"
Leon thought for a moment. "When I normally punch, I use my Biological Force Field to protect the surroundings. So I'll use the fastest punching speed my Biological Force Field can withstand at full power."
Standing atop the iron pedestal, he once again assumed a stance to gather strength.
He lowered his waist, twisted his hips, and punched!
A standard straight punch.
The combat techniques he had learned a few days ago allowed Leon to maximize his own strength.
However, this was merely an empty swing, without the accompanying force of tens of thousands of tons.
Beep!
Tony was still watching Leon from far away.
From his perspective, Leon had not moved at all.
Yet a number suddenly appeared on his computer without any warning.
"10,769 meters per second, nearly Mach 32!?"
"This is your highest speed when exerting maximum force?" Tony braced both hands on the table and stared fixedly at the screen.
Leon thought Tony felt the same as he did—that the speed was too slow. "It's a little slow."
"Actually, I can go even faster. But if I strike at full power beyond this speed, my Biological Force Field will be breached, and it'll affect the surroundings—just like in the garage this morning."
Tony clicked his tongue. "You can go even faster... You're practically a god among men!"
"A god? Gods are nothing special... This is still far from enough. Once I become stronger in the future, my Biological Force Field will grow stronger too, and this punching speed can increase further."
"Still not enough?" Tony found it unbelievable. "Do you know how powerful a punch of over a hundred thousand tons would be at that speed?"
"Probably... like a small meteor crashing into Earth?"
Tony wiped both hands over his face. "More or less... JARVIS, tell him the exact figures."
"Yes, sir."
"Master Leon, according to the model calculations."
"With instantaneous acceleration reaching Mach 31, a full-force punch from one of your arms can unleash over 1.5 trillion newtons of impact force within one second, equivalent to 240 Hiroshima atomic bombs exploding simultaneously."
Tony slammed his hand down on the table. "That's also equivalent to 3.6 million tons of TNT! And that doesn't even account for the fact that your fist has a small contact area, meaning the pressure would be even greater!"
JARVIS continued, "That is correct, Master Leon. You are now essentially a freely walking high-yield hydrogen bomb, with unlimited firepower!"
Tony took two deep breaths. He was far too excited now.
Who would have thought that the little brother who bickered with him every day at home possessed such tremendous power?
"Do you still think your strength isn't enough? I don't even know why you're so desperate to become stronger. Was it because I didn't protect you well enough when we were young?"
"No, Tony. You treated me incredibly well. You even wore me around your neck when you went chasing girls. It's just that there are many reasons behind it."
Leon thought about it and felt that Tony was not entirely wrong.
Wasn't it because he had spent every day as a child worrying that the Time Variance Authority would come arrest him, leaving him psychologically scarred, that he now craved constant strength?
Having experienced that helpless dread of living every day in fear, he understood all the more how important it was to hold power in his own hands.
"What reasons? Because I was too busy chasing girls, you got jealous and wanted to use super strength to beat me up?" Tony's mind was a mess, and he casually cracked a joke.
"...Then I really should beat you up." Leon pressed his communications earpiece. "Alright, move on to the next test. There's still plenty ahead to shock you."
Over the next hour.
Leon successively underwent tests for Heat Vision temperature, Freeze Breath range, X-Ray Vision, flight...
Tony's cries of alarm went from utter horror at the beginning to half-dead resignation by the end.
From "God," to "shit," to "you really deserve to die."
It was not that Tony had gone numb. Leon was simply far too good at humblebragging.
Heat Vision capable of reaching six thousand degrees Celsius, with freely adjustable power and range, was merely barely useful in Leon's eyes.
Freeze Breath capable of instantly freezing several kilometers of land was, according to him, still far too weak.
X-Ray Vision that could see through the entire world was flawed because it could not see through lead, making it not worth using.
Even Super Hearing could be dismissed by him as too noisy and not particularly useful.
After the whole process, Tony had no other thoughts. He only wanted to plant a fierce kiss on Leon's face with his size-42 leather shoe.
"And then? What ability is the next test for?"
Tony sat slumped in his chair with lifeless eyes, one hand weakly scrolling the mouse.
