Ultron had already risen to his feet.
He did not run, because Leon had him locked on the entire time. No matter where he fled, it would be useless.
"You're not human, Leon. Why are you stopping me?!"
Ultron tried to appeal to his emotions. "We should be on the same side. Those humans, those intelligent lifeforms, are always filled with endless desire, deception, and darkness!"
"They will only lead the Multiverse toward destruction, filling this world with misfortune and tragedy!"
"Why don't we wipe out all life together and return this world to true peace?"
Ultron looked incomparably sincere, as though he were speaking from the heart and truly regarded Leon as an ideal partner.
But he had no choice.
In truth, he still had absolute confidence in himself.
He believed that as long as he had time, he could reach Leon's current level, then turn the tables through superior energy manipulation.
Leon found it rather amusing and could not help smiling.
He was just about to speak.
When a passage suddenly opened above everyone's heads.
A head that looked as though it were made of the universe itself poked through. "You're wrong, young man. Leon is actually human too, haha! And he stands for Justice and Order, so he'll never side with you! Keep working hard from here on out—we'll all be watching you!"
After laughing heartily, the head withdrew, and the passage closed again.
"..."
"..."
Everyone found it utterly bizarre.
"Who was that?" Ultron looked utterly bewildered.
"Eternity..." Leon was speechless. It was one thing for Eternity to watch the battle, but why had he popped out to post live commentary?
"Eternity... was right, Ultron. You and I were destined to never be on the same side."
Countless miniature universes appeared in Leon's hand once more.
