After clearing things up with Bizarro,
the three of them returned to Earth together.
Leon carried the other two as they flew faster than light.
When they returned to Kent Farm, Lois had not even finished preparing dinner.
But when she saw Clark return safely, his clothes in tatters,
Lois had no mind left for dinner.
She tossed aside the spatula and threw herself at Clark, kissing him passionately and obliviously.
The afternoon sunlight was just right. The two figures pressed together on the grass, and even their shadows looked sweet.
"Lois..." The sight stirred Bizarro's memories.
He missed his own Lois too. He turned to look toward the mine in Smallville, searching for the way home.
"Stop looking. The spatial passage has already disappeared. If you want to go home, I'll take you back later," Leon said.
Bizarro's Super-Brain automatically reversed the word order and understood what Leon meant, repeatedly thanking him.
As for that lovey-dovey middle-aged couple, they were still kissing.
If not for their two oblivious children running out and charging over with cries of surprise,
the two of them could have kissed for ten whole minutes.
At dinnertime,
there was still Lois's specialty: fried fish, fried steak, a standard white-person meal.
Leon ate perfunctorily as he listened to the couple explain what had happened.
"Because Lois mistakenly used someone else's evidence of guilt long ago and sent Luthor to prison, he created Doomsday to take revenge on you?"
Leon forked a piece of beef into his mouth. "So what are you planning to do next?"
"He wants revenge, then we'll fight him to the end!"
Lois's tone was resolute. "The crimes he committed are enough to send him back to prison. Clark and I will definitely find the evidence!"
"But that'll be difficult," Leon said.
