After Lu Mingfei pressed "Yes," he suddenly froze.
In a daze, he seemed to hear a soft cry of surprise, followed by a faint chuckle.
It seemed someone far away had called him "this unlucky brat."

Then, it felt as though something had been pulled out of him.

He instinctively clutched his chest. The sadness surged up from the depths of his heart like a fountain, only to vanish just as quickly.
A cold wind carrying rain blew into the awning.
Lu Mingfei shivered and immediately threw all his doubts to the back of his mind.
That was just how carefree he was.
Instead, he nervously looked at the screen, hoping it truly was something magical rather than a hallucination.
