He then went into the guest room, ready to enter seclusion and refine the flame seed.
But after his first experience with refining one, Chen Mu no longer dared to be reckless.
He regulated his breathing and steadied his mind.
Only when his inner breath had settled did Chen Mu take stock of what he had.
First was the Karmic Flame Seed he had won the previous night.
He had stored it in the Profound Thunder Cauldron. Chen Mu summoned the little cauldron and drew the seed out.
The air in the room immediately crackled and twisted.
Chen Mu also took out the twelve drops of Fire Phoenix True Blood.
Then there was the Fire Phoenix Demon Core he had obtained earlier in the Thunder Abyss.
With everything laid out, Chen Mu smiled faintly.
