As the empires prepared for war, Tang San and his friends gained power from stolen and substituted herbs, while Chang Gong Miao’s meeting with Xue Qinghe and the group’s search for Ning Rongrong left their plans unsettled.

• Ning Fengzhi stopped Gu Rong and Sword Douluo from beating the Shrek group, then learned from Yu Xiaogang that Spirit Hall had abducted Zhao Wuji and the Balak Kingdom had shut down Shrek Academy.
• Tang San traded the Godly Zhuge Crossbow forging process for Ning Fengzhi’s recommendation, but the announcement that the tournament prize was a Blue Silver Emperor enraged him and his companions.
• Xue Xing and Mo Ya humiliated Shrek at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, forcing the group to crawl beneath Xue Beng’s crotch before Flender led them away.
• Xue Ye’s court prepared for war and advance taxation, while Xue Qinghe arranged a new campus and tournament place for Shrek after Ning Fengzhi introduced the group.
• Tang Hao stole five Immortal Herbs from Chang Gong Miao, and Tang San distributed them among his friends before Qin Xuan secretly replaced four with Blood Ginseng.
• The Shrek students gained Soul Power from the substituted herbs, while Qin Xuan sealed Ma Hongjun’s Evil Fire and replaced Yu Xiaogang’s Golden Sacred Dragon with a sow Martial Soul.
• Tang San identified Xue Qinghe as Qian Renxue and persuaded Tang Hao to delay confronting her, while Chang Gong Miao accepted her invitation to the Crown Prince’s Residence.
• Tang San, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun reached Soul Master Guild Academy to seek Ning Rongrong, as Qin Yan fought the Six Sword Slaves and Qin Yuanyuan prepared to greet the visitors.

Spirit Hall established its empire and expanded its influence while Tang San and Shrek prepared for the tournament, where the Titled Douluo Team crushed them and Feng Xiaotian later eliminated them. Shrek still qualified for the finals, but Spirit Hall blocked its student credentials, and Tang San planned to seek Liu Erlong’s help with his Twin Martial Souls.

• Qin Yue disguised herself as Ning Rongrong, tricked Oscar, Tang San, and Ma Hongjun into drinking, and left them with an enormous hotel bill and a month of labor to repay it.
• Two years later, tax collectors abused the people of Sacred Soul Village until Su Yuntao intervened, while Spirit Hall blamed Tang San for the village’s persecution and Tang San remained unaware.
• Tang Hao unsealed Shrek’s Four Uglies, and Qin Xuan declared the Spirit Hall Empire and began planning its conquest of the two empires.
• Tang San absorbed a Ten Thousand Year Cave Demon Spider Soul Ring, returned to Shrek, and recruited Tai Tan and the Strength Clan to support his plans.
• Ayan brought the Titled Douluo Team to the tournament, where it defeated Shrek in one minute and Elder Ye healed the team while leaving several injuries unrepaired.
• Ning Fengzhi learned that Rongrong’s Blood Ginseng was dangerous and investigated whether Shrek had taken it, while Spirit Hall forces seized cities and abolished slavery.
• Feng Xiaotian defeated all seven Shrek members, eliminating them from the tournament, though Shrek qualified for the finals in fifth place.
• Yu Xiaogang planned to ask Liu Erlong for help with Tang San’s Twin Martial Souls, and Chang Gong Miao told Flender that Spirit Hall had withheld Shrek’s approved student credentials.
