Everything settled down.

The power unleashed by four God Kings self-destructing in succession was immense. Each explosion surpassed even the all-out, desperate strike of a Peak God King.

The ones left in the worst shape were none other than Morosa, God King Taizang, and God King Gailin.

Morosa had first endured Wind-Eater God King's self-destruction. That explosion had already injured him considerably, even blasting a hole in his body... Then came the self-destructions of Lord Ye Heng and God King Duyin. Either one alone was not much weaker than Wind-Eater God King's explosion. Together, their destructive force was terrifying beyond measure.

Fortunately, these explosions had not occurred at point-blank range. Morosa had only suffered damage comparable to that inflicted by Wind-Eater God King's self-destruction. Had those two also exploded right beside him, his injuries would have been at least twice as severe.

At that moment, Morosa's aura fluctuated somewhat erratically, but he was not in any serious danger.

That was how formidable a World Beast King's defenses were.

As for God King Taizang and God King Gailin, even with some distance between them and Wind-Eater God King, his self-destruction had dealt them a tremendous blow, consuming fifteen percent of their divine bodies. Lord Ye Heng and God King Duyin had exploded even closer to them. The powerful shock waves had severely injured them, wiping out seventy percent of their divine bodies outright.

Their auras now fluctuated as well, far weaker than at the start. But with the divine power stored in their inner universes, they were also recovering rapidly.

As for the World Beast Warriors surrounding the battlefield, they had not been the main combatants and had kept their distance. With bodily defenses comparable to Saint-level Peak Supreme Treasures, they could naturally withstand the shock waves.
