In the Flame Cave, several God Kings in the upper reaches sensed a surge of power not long after that streak of light plunged deeper in. The disturbance was so intense that shock spread across their faces.

An ordinary God King who went down there would barely have a chance to struggle. Yet they could sense a powerful force fighting back within the disturbance. It had to be the desperate strength of a Peak God King. A moment later, though, that force vanished, and the disturbance faded with it.

They knew what had happened—another God King had fallen.

They knew how terrifying the two Magma Demons below were. They were immensely strong and almost impossible to kill. Even ten Peak God Kings working together could not slay one. Any Peak God King trapped down there would die.

To them, the streak of light that had just entered might well have been another Peak God King. It had made no difference.

Powerful forces gripped and pressed against the Star Tower from every side. They carried an intense destructive quality, as though they meant to melt it away completely.

But the Star Tower had been tempered by the Heaven-Refining Flame. Once Luo Feng realized those forces could not threaten it, he finally relaxed.

There was no need to rush out now.

The Magma Demon's Internal World felt much like the Flame Cave outside, except that it was far hotter and contained a force that seemed to be the demon's own means of digestion.
