A powerful, mysterious force radiated from the Saint Spring, filling the entire hall.
Luo Feng could feel that the power making his whole body tremble came from the pool of red liquid before him.
"The Saint Spring." Longing burned in Luo Feng's eyes.
"Besides the various powers gathered by its formation, our Saint Spring contains treasures the city lord found in the Chaos Abyss and added to it," Supreme Tulu explained. "Most notably, it contains the blood of certain wondrous Hunyuan lifeforms. Their blood can strengthen the body and soul in unexpected ways."
Luo Feng nodded. He had learned a little about this in Frost City. Mysterious Chaos Lifeforms existed in the Chaos Abyss. They came from Infinite Hunyuan Space, and their cultivation systems were entirely different from those of the Origin Continent. Some possessed extraordinarily powerful bodies, making their blood immensely precious.
"Looks like I'm getting quite a bargain at your expense this time," Luo Feng said.
"For us, it's an investment too. Knowing the kind of person you are, Brother Starlight, it's well worth it." Supreme Tulu smiled.
Luo Feng smiled as well. Repaying kindness had been ingrained in him since childhood.
"Each Saint Spring Baptism lasts a hundred years. The process is simple: you need only immerse yourself in it. Young friend Starlight, please." Supreme Tulu gestured toward the spring.
"All right." Luo Feng turned, cupped his hands briefly, and walked toward the Saint Spring.
The space-time around the spring was folded and twisted. Each step Luo Feng took seemed to cover ten, yet though he was visibly drawing closer, he still had not reached its edge after a full minute.
With his next step, Luo Feng suddenly arrived in the space-time surrounding the Saint Spring.
The spring before him was far larger than it had appeared.
