"Lifudo, what are you doing? Are you breaking your promise to She Chuan?" City Lord Moyang looked into the distance. A tall, powerfully built figure had appeared there, a heavy blade on his back. He had two arms and two legs, much like most living beings, but his head was unusual. It gleamed with a dark brown metallic sheen and had a streamlined shape. Anyone who did not know better might have mistaken him for some high-tech creation.
The Alien Race swordsman called Lifudo glanced at the Star Tower, then at Chisha Dong and City Lord Moyang. "I owe him," he said softly. "That's all."
"But since I'm here, I'd like to fight you. Maybe I'll even kill you while I'm at it." Lifudo's eyes were utterly cold, with the sharp, icy edge of a killer who lived by the blade.
"As for the promise you mentioned, only the weak need promises," Lifudo added.
"Hah. Kill me? You've comprehended the Blade Soul, and you think that's enough?" City Lord Moyang said coldly. Lifudo's last remark had made it clear there was no room for compromise.
