After refining and merging with the Time Hearts, Luo Feng wasted no time. He took Morosa and headed for the Sea of Loss.
As one of the forbidden lands, the Sea of Loss had its dangers: attacks by the Alien Race, and hazards of its own, such as Spatial Quicksand and Time Exile.
Spatial Quicksand was relatively rare in the Sea of Loss. Time Exile was far more common.
Time Exile was arguably the most dangerous hazard there.
Of course, the stronger one was, the less one had to fear it. Those of relatively little strength were the ones most likely to be exiled through time.
Luo Feng had studied the risks in detail before setting out. As long as he did not venture into the innermost region, he had little reason to worry about Time Exile.
After leaving the Lost Continent, they traveled another fifty million light-years before finally reaching the Sea of Loss.
It had been impressive even from afar, but seeing the region up close was truly staggering.
Before him stretched an immense expanse filled with starfields, nebulae, and planets—a world awash in color. Time flowed at a different rate in each hue. In pale or pitch-black areas, it flowed faster; in the most vivid areas, it was still fast, but much slower by comparison.
Most astonishing of all were the fluctuations of time. Having refined two Time Hearts, Luo Feng was especially sensitive to them. He could glimpse the imagery of time on a deeper level—the mysteries of its origin.
The Time Law was an intangible manifestation.
The mysteries of the Time Origin were its imagery.
The Time Origin itself was a tangible manifestation, one of the most fundamental powers in the greater world.
The tangible manifested as imagery, and imagery manifested as the intangible.
