Ch. 201Humanity of the Universe Ocean
Plot points
- Luo Feng sends more than 700 million gifted Human youths, along with over a hundred True Gods, toward Origin Continent under Galaxy Guard No. 1’s protection. The True Gods receive guidance about higher realms and begin attempting breakthroughs.
- Luo Feng anxiously hopes Galaxy Guard No. 1 will find his son Luo Hai’s soul in the Reincarnation Passage. After a month-long search fails, Luo Feng concludes that Luo Hai was either consumed or reincarnated, and cannot currently be revived.
- Luo Feng tells his family the truth, while preserving their hope that he might one day reach the Ruins of Return and find a way to bring Luo Hai back.
- At the Primal Universe’s Great Annihilation, 68 of Humanity’s 112 True Gods have become Void True Gods. Humanity’s Sacred Land Universes rise from seven to seventy-five.
- Humanity becomes the Universe Ocean’s dominant power. The Hongmeng and Northern Frontier alliances each gain one Sacred Land Universe; other major races fail to produce any. Luo Feng’s Humanity offers refuge to most of them, while even the ancient East Emperor Holy Land submits.
Character developments and interactions
- Luo Feng’s immense power does not shield him from grief: Luo Hai’s loss remains deeply personal. He comforts his family with the possibility—however uncertain—of future resurrection.
- The successful True Gods demonstrate that their talent and long cultivation prepared them to benefit from Luo Feng’s guidance. Those who fail still have limited time and, for many, little prospect of advancing further.
- Origin Ancestor and Primal Chaos City Leader are moved by Luo Feng’s achievements and reflect on how rapidly he has elevated Humanity. They recognize that they cannot yet reach him or easily travel to Chaos Land; Origin Ancestor nevertheless hopes to explore and forge his own path. Hong and Primal Chaos City Leader sense that Luo Feng may have reached God King-level power.
Significant themes
- Loss and hope: Luo Feng accepts that his son may be gone, yet clings to the possibility that his unprecedented Perfect Gene could eventually let him reach the Ruins of Return.
- Talent, guidance, and opportunity: The True Gods’ breakthroughs show how innate ability, accumulated experience, and access to higher knowledge can combine to produce advancement.
- Power and survival: Humanity’s rise brings security to many races, but also makes submission the only viable path for those excluded from its protection.
- Luo Feng’s growing distance from others: His accomplishments inspire his peers even as his power increasingly sets him apart.
