Loki's Promise

Tony looked at Xiao Han's confident expression. Though puzzled, years of trust ultimately made him choose to believe Xiao Han.

"Alright, since you say so." Tony sighed.

"The Avengers will enter maximum alert. But then again, are you really not planning to do anything in advance? Like checking on Asgard?"

"No need."

Xiao Han shook his head. "That would alert them and make the game less fun."

"A game?" Tony's mouth twitched.

"Fine, maybe it's just a game to you. Anyway, I'll notify you the moment anything happens."

The call ended, and the villa returned to silence.

Diana walked over to Xiao Han, her expression grave. "Xiao, are we doing nothing?"

"Don't worry."

Xiao Han looked at her and gently stroked her cheek.

"I've seen many versions of Thanos. This one won't be an exception."

In the depths of space

Within the boundless darkness, strewn with the corpses of stars, an enormous throne floated in the void.

Thanos sat quietly upon it, clad in heavy golden armor.

His gaze was profound, as though it held the birth and death of the entire universe, calmly fixed upon the figure kneeling on one knee below him.

The God of Mischief, who had just escaped Asgard's prison, had now shed all his arrogance. He bowed his head and waited respectfully for the judgment of the universe's overlord.

"So."

Thanos's voice was low and slow, utterly devoid of emotion.

"You have come before me, Prince of Asgard. You crave power, you crave a throne, and you would even betray your brother and father for them."

"Yes, great Thanos!"

Loki raised his head, ambition blazing in his eyes.

"I will bring you victory. I will offer you Midgard, along with the other Infinity Stones!"

"The Infinity Stones?"

The corner of Thanos's mouth
