The "Red Angel" Evil Spirit looked beside the stone stele, at a grayish-white stone staircase leading downward.
The slit on her cheek opened and closed as it spoke, "You don't really intend to go down, do you?"
"You're not trying to get both of us killed, are you?"
"It's not too late to stop now."
"Haven't you felt it yet?"
"This is definitely a trap."
"You should know that too, shouldn't you?"
"You know it's a trap, yet you still want to step into it. When did you become so stupid?"
The "Red Angel" Evil Spirit raised a hand and wiped her cheek, but she did not make the slit disappear or shut it up.
"Don't you often think you're the wisest among the three of us?"
"Then take a guess. Why am I going down there?"
As she spoke, the "Red Angel" Evil Spirit had already walked toward the stone staircase.
The slit on her cheek continued speaking. "Why should I guess?"
"No matter what I say, you'll argue the opposite. Why should I waste the effort?"
Red Angel A Ling said expressionlessly, "Then shut up."
She began walking down the stairs.
Yet the slit on her cheek chattered on. "Why should I obey you?"
"I'll speak whenever I want."
"Not only will I speak, I'll remind you as well."
"You're committing suicide."
"Don't tell me you know what the River of Eternal Darkness is?"
"It is something that even a Sequence 0 True God will sink into and be unable to escape once they approach it."
"Even death itself will be imprisoned by this abstract river."
"Even if one never fades away again, one will still be unable to break free."
"I'd wager Salinger is in exactly that state."
The "Red Angel" Evil Spirit gave a derisive snort.
