The Sound of Death

At that moment.

Sifa felt his entire body brimming with strength. His already keen five senses underwent a qualitative leap.

He could see every pore on Hudson's face, hear the fat man's anxious heartbeat, and smell the fear emanating from his opponent.

He saw Hudson raise his hand in panic and press it vaguely toward him. Sifa immediately sensed invisible ripples passing by his side.

Sifa suddenly felt afraid and wanted to turn and run. But the moment that thought arose, he overcame it. He merely paused for a moment before continuing forward and crashing into Hudson.

The fat man screamed as Sifa shoved him backward, forcing him all the way against the wall.

Hudson looked down to see that all ten of Sifa's black-green claws had sunk into his body.

He let out an angry roar and gathered all his strength, slamming both hands heavily onto Sifa's shoulders.

But Sifa only swayed slightly. Hudson could not push the Werewolf away.

Looking at the fat man before him, Sifa thought of the man who could not find his son and had nearly been driven mad.

He raised his five claws and raked them viciously across Hudson's face, instantly leaving five bloody wounds.

One of Hudson's eyes had been clawed blind, and his imposing gray-white beard had become disheveled.

Sifa thought of Grizzly Bear and Mole again, their organs laid out on the table while their bodies remained on the sofa.

He pulled out his other hand and swept it across Hudson's chest. His sharp claws tore open Hudson's clothes like daggers, leaving five bone-deep gashes across his chest.

"Stop!" Hudson shouted.

Sifa thought of Robin, of the man preparing to return to his hometown and open a detective agency.

He spread both hands, then drove his claws into Hudson's sides,
