Selling a Dream

On Friday evening, a hired carriage entered Enqi Town through White Stone Gate, traveled along Mermaid Road, arrived at Memorial Square in front of Saint Witte Church, and headed toward Golden Champagne Avenue.

Inside the carriage, Sifa lowered the curtain and said sincerely, "I never expected the town to have changed so much after we'd only been away for a little over a month."

Along the roads they had just passed, Sifa had seen that some streets had already been paved with hard cement.

And in certain public places, such as Memorial Square they had just passed, public toilets had appeared. They would greatly improve sanitation in the town.

"It looks like the Construction Fund is operating normally. Given time, our town will become a vacation destination."

Sifa said happily, genuinely delighted by the changes in the town.

Before long, they arrived at the baron's residence. When the iron gates opened and the carriage reached the fountain, Matthew was the first to pull open the door and jump down, then helped Sifa out.

It was Jom, the youngest member of the household.
