There was no need to confirm it. Sifa knew that was Yarlin. And just as he had expected, Yarlin was incomplete, leaving him without intelligence and able to act only on instinct.

Driven by instinct, the half-face hidden in the illusory shadow turned toward Sifa. Its bloodshot eye immediately spotted the grayish-white humerus in Sifa's hand.

An unreal shriek rang out from the shadow. The "whirlwind" around the girl then dispersed, and several undead along with two Human-Headed Spiders lunged at Sifa.

Sifa splashed his last flask of Holy Water at them and retreated to evade them. One of the undead vanished into the air the instant it was hit by Holy Water. The remaining two clutched their heads and shrieked, but they were not subject to Purification.

The Human-Headed Spiders were affected the least. They could endure the damage from Holy Water. Although their movements became less fluid, they still spat out illusory spider silk or slashed with their forelimbs.
