Sifa stared at the word "war," his thoughts racing.

"A Watcher already said the Hunter Pathway is a Pathway of war. If I keep going, war is bound to be an issue I can't avoid."

"And I don't think there's a shortcut around it. If I want to continue down this Pathway, I'd better prepare myself to take part in a war now."

"No running from it. No shortcuts."

"The question is, what kind of war would I fight in?"

"I'm Sifa, but I'm also Li Zexi. The feelings I carry from my 'past life' won't let me accept a war of aggression."

"So I should fight in something like a defensive war. That's right. If I have to go to war, I should fight to protect!"

Sifa kept reading.

"ID 1185161963109765120: Stop interacting with the female supporting characters so much. Your technique sucks."

Ahem.

If this Watcher's technique is so good, why doesn't he teach me a few tricks?

"ID 20180206215525844: At this stage, you could organize mercenaries to wipe out pirates, or become a pirate and rob merchant ships. You could organize a colonial venture, or infiltrate resistance groups on the Southern Continent and fight colonialism. None of that threatens the foundations of those in power, so you can do it without worrying.

"But don't think about starting a rebellion. Anything that threatens the foundations of their rule will be ruthlessly crushed by High Sequence Beyonders. At Low Sequence, even inciting a strike is dangerous.

"So don't raise the banner of rebellion before Sequence 4, and don't try to spread one across entire provinces before Sequence 2. Lying low is the way to go. You have the Fool backing you, anyway. Advancing shouldn't be that hard."

This Watcher's message could be summed up in one word: hide!
