Exit Camp Assessment

It was already dusk.

A turtledove was flying back to its nest when a black shadow suddenly shot out from the canopy as it passed a large tree. Startled, the turtledove hurriedly beat its wings and dove downward.

Sifa curled his legs slightly in midair. Flames suddenly spurted from the soles of his bare feet. Straightening his legs, he used the thrust of the flames to rocket toward the turtledove.

The turtledove cried out and frantically flapped its wings to change direction, swooping left instead.

Sifa pressed his outstretched hand lightly to the right, flames bursting from his palm as he immediately changed direction. Fire continued to spray from his feet, and with a whoosh, he caught up to the turtledove. Reaching out, he grabbed the poor bird with his bare hand.

After landing, Sifa gave a sheepish chuckle and released the turtledove.

He clapped his hands and headed back.

"I've practiced acceleration and changing direction many times over the past few days. I'm already very proficient at them, and I've gotten the hang of my other flame techniques too. All I'm lacking now is actual combat."
