Iron and Blood Cross Order?
That crazy organization which believed in evil gods, hoped to change society, and wanted to expose the supernatural to the public.
Suddenly, Sifa looked at the man before him with a slightly different gaze.
"Don't look at me like that!"
Latiz said as if he had suffered a great insult, "I'm not like those brainless guys!"
He let out another "huh": "It seems you know about the Iron and Blood Cross Order. For a pirate, your knowledge is quite extensive."
Sifa offered a smile: "That's probably because I usually like reading. Besides, news on the sea isn't all that isolated; I know a little bit about all sorts of things."
Latiz said without suspicion: "That's true. After all, you're also a Hunter; we're all enthusiastic about collecting various kinds of information."
Sifa spread his hands: "Then can I assume that even though you're a member of the Iron and Blood Cross Order, you don't hold any crazy beliefs?"
"To be exact, I haven't participated in their secret activities yet. Although they've asked me to join more than once, I've always used all sorts of excuses to decline."
Latiz shook his head: "You simply can't imagine how fanatical those fellows are, as if their brains have been gnawed away by zombies. I find it hard to imagine myself turning into that look, and I don't want to turn into that look, so I became a neglected archive keeper."
"Ever since I got there, the place has become well-organized, and they also realized my importance, giving up on having me participate in their crazy, distorted prayer activities."
Sifa didn't fully believe him, but for now, what Latiz said still made sense.
"Since that's the case, why are you on this merchant ship?" Sifa threw out another question.
