When Sifa raised his gun, Hilda lifted her arms to defend herself. She took two shots to her arms and shoulders, then turned her head so the third bullet grazed her cheek.
The Demon-Hunting Bullets appeared to do limited damage, but a sinister bloom of blood-red fire rose from Hilda's shoulder. The wound on her arm kept bleeding. Blood Praise had taken effect.
Seeing Hilda take the shots made Sifa more certain that the chief priest belonged to the Corpse Collector Pathway.
If she had been a Zombie, she would not have been injured at all. Even a Werewolf's wounds would have healed quickly.
She could not be a Beyonder of the Darkness Pathway, either. Otherwise, she would have dragged him into a dream by now instead of charging straight at him.
Sifa kept firing, but this time Hilda did not rush in blindly. She used her agility to evade his shots.
