The ship set sail.
Xifa sat at a table facing the window, took out a sheet of letter paper, a round-bellied fountain pen, and ink, then began writing.
"Mr. Oswald, I have just returned from Skye Island. I discovered that, like Windmill Island, this island worships Astuka. However, this island is clearly much more normal, and no strange or bizarre incidents have occurred."
"I will continue investigating the other islands. In addition, I would like to inquire about three people. They should already be dead, considering they lived more than a hundred years ago. Therefore, if you can provide information about their descendants, I would be extremely grateful."
"The three people are Ralph Tain, Celis Newman, and Jane Britney. They once traveled to Intis aboard a ship called the Shining Black Star. After the ship was wrecked at sea, the three of them came ashore at Damir Port."
"If contributions need to be deducted and I do not have enough, please allow me to make up the difference afterward. Please send me the relevant information first."
At the signature, Xifa wrote the word "Duke." After confirming there were no mistakes, he waited for the ink on the letter to dry before placing it in an envelope.
Next, Xifa took out a metal flute and blew a note.
He felt his spirituality spread out. A moment later, illusory knocking sounded at the door.
"Come in."
A thick leather shoe polished to a shine extended through the door and stepped onto the floor. Next came a pair of straight-cut black trousers, then a tailcoat of the same color. Finally, the Headless Messenger, wearing white gloves, entered the room completely.
The messenger pressed a hand to its chest and bowed to Xifa, then stood to one side and waited for his instructions.
