As he spoke, Lynn walked into the living room. The moment he saw Sifa, he froze for a full two seconds before smiling at Cromwell. "Tell me, am I seeing things? Otherwise, how could I possibly see a good friend here?"
Cromwell replied with an indifferent expression and a faint lift at the corner of his mouth, "You are not seeing things."
"I knew it." Lynn laughed heartily, utterly unlike a reserved Loen native. He gave Sifa a firm hug and whispered, "Thank you, my friend. I am already a Briber."
"Also, I have cashed out your stocks for you. Including the principal, it comes to a total of 15,000 pounds."
Sifa felt as though he had drunk honey, sweetness flooding his heart. Fifteen thousand pounds! Lynn had nearly doubled his money. Even in Backlund, that amount of assets was enough to make him a wealthy man!
"This is the best news I have heard lately."
Sifa replied with a smile and released him, allowing Lynn to step back a few paces.
Next, the Lawyer introduced the two friends he had brought to the Arbiter and Sifa.
"This is Talim Dumont, an equestrian instructor for a nobleman. This is the renowned surgeon, Doctor Aaron Ceres."
Lynn added, "They are also my friends, and important clients of mine."
Sifa looked over the two gentlemen.
Talim had short, curly brown hair, a smile at the corners of his mouth, and lively eyes. He looked like a talkative sort.
Doctor Aaron was tall and thin, wearing gold-rimmed glasses. His expression was cold, and he did not seem like the type to easily mingle with others.
It appeared that these two had also made investments through Lynn.
Otherwise, the Lawyer would not have called them "clients."
