Seeing the man, Sifa was not surprised in the least, because he was the head of the Moretti family, Benson Moretti.
"Hello, sir."
Sifa wore a polite smile. "I would like to see Miss Melissa."
"What? You want to see Melissa?"
Benson's eyes fell on the flowers in Sifa's hand. He suddenly stepped outside and shut the door behind him, saying seriously, "Sir, I think we need to have a proper talk."
"Melissa is still a child and still in school. I don't think she should waste too much time on socializing. Especially, well... you know."
Why did this feel like meeting the parents? Sifa smiled awkwardly. "Sir, I'm afraid you've misunderstood. Miss Melissa and I are merely ordinary friends. I commissioned her to design an item for me two months ago."
"I left Tingen for work and only returned these past couple of days. I came to ask about the item's progress. It is absolutely not what you imagined."
Benson suddenly understood. "So that's how it is. I heard Melissa mention this as well. You're Mr. Sifa, right?"
Sifa hurriedly said, "That's right, it's me."
Benson turned around and opened the door. "Please, come in. I thought you were a gentleman pursuing Melissa."
As he walked into the house, he said, "You know Melissa is still studying. I don't want her getting involved in that sort of thing too early."
Sifa nodded repeatedly in agreement.
He followed Benson into the living room and sat down on a set of fabric sofas. Benson then went upstairs to inform his sister that she had a visitor.
Before long, Sifa heard footsteps coming down the stairs, followed by a young girl entering the room.
