While Danitz was trying to puzzle out what had happened on Yedga Island, Water Bucket, whose waist had no discernible contours, nudged him. "Look over there. Seems Rayleigh's back."
Danitz looked in the direction he pointed and saw a fishing boat heading their way, with someone aboard waving.
The man's short black hair fluttered in the sea breeze. He had a slightly dark complexion and a faint scar beneath his left eye. It was none other than the Hunter Rayleigh!
A short while later, Sifa stepped onto the deck of the Golden Dream. Before Danitz could ask anything, he hurriedly said, "Raise the anchor. We need to get out of here."
"Why?" Danitz couldn't understand why he was so flustered. For one thing, it was only Thursday, two days before their agreed date. More importantly, Sifa was alone on the fishing boat. There was no sign of the great poet and writer Spender.
Sifa pointed at the thick smoke rising from Yedga Island. "Do you know what that place is?"
The dark-skinned Ironhide answered in a muffled voice, "If I'm not mistaken, that's the Commander's Mansion on Yedga Island."
"You're very clever."
Sifa gave him a thumbs-up. "Then do you know who started that fire?"
Without waiting for the pirates to answer, Sifa pointed at his own nose. "I did. So are you going to keep chatting with me here while Yedga's troops catch up, or hurry up and raise the anchor so we can get out of here?"
Danitz jumped in fright. "Shit, you burned down the Commander's Mansion? Did a Zombie eat your brains? Weren't you supposed to go to the prison? Why did you go setting fires at the Commander's Mansion?"
Then, without waiting for Sifa to answer, the boatswain shouted, "Quick, raise the anchor! Set sail!"
