Then realization dawned on the fourth boatswain's face. "You haven't heard of the Black Death or the Vice Admiral of Ailment yet, have you?"
Without waiting for Sifa to answer, Danitz continued on his own. "No wonder. The Vice Admiral of Ailment only emerged recently. You should know Vice Admiral Hurricane, right?"
"Yes, she took over Qilangos's fleet, painted the former admiral's flagship black, and renamed it the Black Death."
"She used to be called the Ailment Maiden. Surely you've heard of that?"
Sifa finally found an opening to speak. "I know. Her name is Tracy."
"Right, exactly."
"Tracy, the Ailment Maiden. They say that wherever she appears, people always fall ill for no apparent reason. Some ailments affect the body, others the mind." Danitz suddenly shook his head hard, as though trying to shake something out of it.
You look like you're about to fall ill yourself, my friend, Sifa remarked inwardly.
Danitz fell silent for two seconds before continuing. "After taking over Qilingus's fleet, she proved through her actions that she had the strength to match her title."
"Apparently, she always used to act alone. She's skilled at using curses, black flames, and frost."
"Her opponents always suddenly fall ill with all sorts of diseases. No one knows which Pathway she belongs to yet, but it's pretty much certain that she's at the Sequence 5 level."
Curses, black flames, frost, diseases... She has the ability to fight head-on, along with plenty of strange, mysterious methods. She'd be quite a headache as an enemy.
