After returning to the real world, Klein hunched his shoulders, feeling a little cold. He brewed himself a cup of black tea and rubbed his hands against the outside of the cup for warmth.
After taking a small sip, he found some stationery and a pen, then sat down at his desk.
Picking up the fountain pen with its rounded barrel, Klein thought for a moment before putting pen to paper.
"Dear Mr. Azik, it has been quite some time since we last corresponded. I hope all is well with you."
Only after exchanging a few pleasantries did he get to the point.
"I have always been curious about messengers, and I hope to one day have a messenger like yours. So I am taking the liberty of asking for your guidance: what must I do to obtain a messenger of my own?"
Klein went on to write a little about himself, then placed the letter in an envelope, took out Mr. Azik's Copper Whistle, and blew it once.
Soon, Klein sensed something. He activated Spirit Vision and saw the enormous Bone Messenger appear before him.
"Please deliver this letter to Mr. Azik."
Klein placed the envelope in the messenger's hand and watched as the messenger disintegrated into a fountain of bones, which fell through the floor one by one and vanished.
"What a hurry..."
Looking out the window and seeing that it was still early, Klein exhaled. "Time to go find that Vampire."
