As Otlov took the letter delivered by the messenger and was about to tear open the envelope, Levtor said in a deep voice, "Your Excellency Shevich is the base's supreme commander. Shouldn't he be the one opening this letter, rather than Colonel Otlov?"
Otlov's expression changed slightly. He glanced at Shevich, a glint flashing through his eyes before he lowered his head and presented the letter.
Unexpectedly, Shevich said calmly, "Open it."
Levtor looked at His Excellency in confusion, but since Shevich had already made his decision, he could not interfere further. He could only watch as Otlov opened the envelope and took out the letter inside.
After quickly reading it, Otlov cleared his throat. "Your Excellency, the military headquarters requests that you immediately report to the base regarding tonight's events. As for the fleet here, Admiral Yegor Einhorn will arrive tomorrow morning with his fleet to rendezvous with us."
"He will take over command of the remaining fleet and direct tomorrow's assault on Pritz Harbor in your place."
Before Shevich could respond, the Giant secretary roared, "How can they do that?!"

Levtor's chest heaved as if he might charge over and start fighting at any moment, causing the officers Otlov had brought to shrink back several steps.
Shevich looked at the naval Colonel. "I don't know how you reported this to the royal family, but I'm certain that by doing this, you've fallen into the enemy's trap."
