To the southwest of the Emerald Garden, behind a stretch of woods, stood a cemetery.
Winterleaf Cemetery had originally been intended for Feysac people working and serving in Faust. Later, however, many adventurers had hoped to rest forever in this beautiful, tranquil city, and the cemetery had gradually become semi-open.
Feysac people could be buried here free of charge, while outsiders were charged according to the size of their plots.
One evening, as the groundskeeper prepared a relatively simple dinner in his cabin, a knock sounded at the door. He opened it and saw a young black-haired man standing outside, carrying a suitcase like a tourist who had just arrived in Faust.
The black-haired man removed his half top hat and said with a smile, "Good evening, sir. I'd like to bury two friends."
The groundskeeper nodded. "Please wait."
