The blood-red vines had only just tightened around Tracy and had yet to drink her blood when the Vice Admiral of Ailment's figure abruptly shrank, turning into a black wand bound tightly by the vines.

Tracy quickly reappeared on the other side of the room. The vines had torn her shirt and trousers in several places, exposing the alluring, snow-white skin beneath.
At that moment, a cold, sinister wind suddenly swept through the room. It sent the mirror shards on the floor flying toward Tracy like throwing knives.
As a former Assassin, Tracy possessed extraordinary skill at evasion. Though numerous shards flew toward her, she dodged them all with movements as light as a feather. In the process, however, the sharp fragments sliced off a little of her hair.
Before those few locks of black hair could fall to the floor, a hand reached out from a mirror shard flying past and caught them.
The hand immediately withdrew. Then the giant Wraith abruptly appeared and let out an inaudible Shriek, making Tracy's head swim once again and extinguishing every candle on the golden stands.
In the darkness, Tracy glided silently toward the door, flung it open, and entered the brightly lit corridor.
By then, crew members had finally heard the sounds of fighting and come running. Tracy felt a slight rush of relief, then immediately regained her composure, unwilling to let them see any sign of weakness.
When the pirates entered the room with Wind Lanterns and lit the candles on the stands, all that remained were two corpses sealed in ice. The giant Wraith had vanished.
Tracy's brows drew together slightly. "A Wraith... does the Rose School have someone like that? Why would the Rose School attack me?"
