Gravekeeper

Before a snow-capped mountain that pierced the clouds stood an exceedingly crude grave.

The grave consisted of only two thick, ancient-looking upright stone slabs and one horizontal slab with the same feel.

Yet this simple grave made Odys feel an immense pressure.

First, the snow-capped mountain gave him the feeling that it was impossible to cross. It was almost "death" itself; climbing over that mountain would be as difficult as overcoming "death."

Second, although the grave looked simple, it radiated waves of unsettling power, as well as a force that seemed capable of withering and killing any living creature.

Even though he was close enough, and even though the grave's structure was simple, Odys still couldn't see what lay inside it.

Odys simply didn't look too closely. The scene there was certainly dangerous, so it was better not to see it.

In this space, he couldn't sense the existence of the Spirit World, so his spiritual premonitions were almost completely useless. He could only rely on himself to be more careful and cautious.

The final wonder was on the snow-capped mountain behind the grave. There was a crack there that seemed large enough for one or two people to pass through.

Odys interpreted it this way: It was the power and symbol of the Death God. Although "death" was an uncrossable snow-capped mountain, the Death God had a way to "cross the mountain."

After taking in everything about the grave, Odys turned his attention to the Magic Formation. He walked while examining it, but when he saw the corpse, he deliberately went around it to prevent any accidents.

Just as he was about to pass the corpse, it suddenly sat upright. "Praise the Goddess! You must be the person the Goddess sent to replace me, right?"

Odys wasn't particularly surprised.
