The previous battle had perfectly illustrated the principle Odys had always upheld: only a fully prepared Mystery Pryer was a qualified Mystery Pryer.
Both a Warlock and a Scroll Professor were like this. Precisely because he understood the Rose School, he had made extensive preparations, allowing events to proceed even more smoothly than Odys had expected.
Before that Wraith was severely wounded, even Odys had not expected their side to actually chase the enemy down.
