During the Fourth Epoch, the "Sage" had once planned to turn the "Night Emperor" into a Great Old One so they could resist the invasion of the Outer Deities together.

After Odys advanced to Angel, he gained the relevant memories. Back then, the "Sage" had used the Sefirah within the "Uncertain Mist," along with the portion of the "Nation of Disorder" that had "seeped" out from the Western Continent, to give the "Night Emperor," in an abstract sense, the Sefirah needed to advance to a Great Old One.

Because these two Sefirot had originally been one entity, it was theoretically possible to establish a close connection between portions of each.

That was why the "Night Emperor's" "Nation of Disorder" seemed to have been pieced together. It contained considerable hidden dangers and could only barely allow him to become a Great Old One.

The "Sage's" plan at the time was that once the "Night Emperor" became a Great Old One through this method, they would devise a way to kill the "Uncertain Mist," strip away the Sefirah within it, and add it all to the "Night Emperor," eliminating the hidden danger.
