A young couple carrying suitcases walked down the gangway from the passenger liner.
The man wore a gray suit, with a brooch pinned to the left side of his collar. He was tall, sharp-eyed, and carried himself like a social elite.
His wife was a black-haired, black-eyed beauty in a long black dress. However, her slightly swollen belly somewhat spoiled her fine figure.
They were Dunn and Daly, disguised as the Forger Couple of the Church of Combat.
"I heard you once lived in this city with some lady?" Daly asked casually, linking her arm through her husband's.
Dunn smiled helplessly at that, feeling as though his hairline had receded a little further. Still, he patiently explained, "I believe I've already explained everything clearly... I even cooperated with your Spirit Channeling."
"Spirit Channeling isn't omnipotent. There are plenty of ways to avoid it..." Daly replied with a smile.
She did not truly care what her husband might have had in the past. After all, her own past was far more unbearable. She only brought it up because she had just arrived in a foreign land and felt nervous, instinctively trying to distract herself.
Dunn naturally understood his wife's thoughts. He had even specifically consulted a Doctor and learned that pregnant women sometimes liked to overthink things. Thus, he put on a troubled expression, but inwardly remained perfectly calm.
After their usual marital bickering, their steps suddenly halted. A fat man whose waist was nearly as wide as he was tall entered their field of vision. The man actually leaped onto a small boat on the other side of the dock.
That action would have been nothing remarkable for an ordinary person, but when a fat man who looked to weigh at least four hundred pounds did it,
