Forsaken Land of the Gods, within Nightmare City.
As Colin stepped into the town, orange-red light suddenly burst from his body, illuminating the collapsed and decaying buildings, the streets paved with grayish-white stone slabs, and the utterly silent ruins.
Figures appeared one after another in his sight. Some wore linen-like robes, while others were dressed in animal hides, as though they were bustling back and forth.
Sensing the light of Dawnlight, they all turned their heads soundlessly at the same time and looked toward Colin, the Chief.
However, Colin Iliad, wearing Sealed Artifact "1-42," ignored them according to his experience from the previous exploration and steadfastly headed toward the prison at the town center, where terrifying prisoners and extraordinary items were held.
At the same time, two intricate dark-green symbols emerged in his eyes, taking in the streets shrouded in thin mist and the seemingly normal figures that made not a single sound.
Suddenly, he let out a muffled groan and dropped to one knee, but his hands tightly gripped his two straight swords as he drove them into the ground.
The bluish-black skin on the back of his neck swelled slightly as indescribably intricate and mysterious symbols surfaced, half-illusory and half-real, spreading into higher or lower levels.
The next moment, the surface of "1-42" changed as well. An indistinct silver suit of armor eerily appeared, protecting him.
But Colin the Demon Hunter had no choice but to stop and confront a gigantic Magic Wolf not far away, its entire body made of bones and black flames burning in its eyes.
"This is different from my last exploration. This Skeleton Magic Wolf has grown much stronger. Although it has yet to reach the true Demigod level, within this Nightmare Town, its combat strength is probably no weaker than mine...
"Mr.
