"What does that have to do with me?"
"Mr. Alex, you are a blood descendant of Tudor!" The old man in thick glasses sighed. "Fate has guided you back here after all."
"I'm a descendant of Tudor? Are you joking? I was just a kid born in the slums of Andor City!" Alex shot back.
He might not have had much education, but after the captain gave him a Potion and made him a Beyonder, Miss Lydia had taught him some basics about the Beyonder world. He knew the Blood Emperor, Tudor, had likely stood at the very top of the Sequences!
And the mayor had just said this town was the entrance to the Blood Emperor's Divine Kingdom... If Tudor had possessed a Divine Kingdom, his standing was obvious!
How could an "ordinary" man from the slums be descended from someone like that?
"There's no mistake... The God of Seasons signed a Contract with me... with every mayor this town has had. As the 'executioner,' I can sense the 'seasons'... That's also why you've retained your Beyonder Ability even while the town is in 'summer.'
