A young officer who looked twenty-three or twenty-four, with brilliant blond hair, lake-blue eyes, and rather handsome features, sat behind a simple desk, reading a telegram that had been relayed from the homeland.
This young officer was Audrey's second brother, Alfred Hall.
A few minutes later, Alfred set down the telegram in his hand, rose with a grave expression, and walked over to the battle map hanging nearby.
His adjutant, Pagney, who had black hair and brown eyes, saw this and asked in surprise, "What did the telegram say?"
"It orders us to cooperate with a Red Gloves squad from the Church of Evernight the day after tomorrow and launch a counterattack against the Kalaston Region." Alfred replied as he marked the map.
Pagney's eyes widened when he heard that. He said incredulously, "Has headquarters gone mad? There are Demigods in the Kalaston Region... Going there like this is suicide!"
