Final Thoughts

After two years, Reader was finally complete. Time to celebrate.

When I started this book, it was actually because Ming Huo couldn't find any long Lord of Mysteries fanfiction to read and was forced to make his own. My original intention was simply to help Klein reach a more comfortable and happier ending than in the original... I wrote that in the synopsis at first. Maybe some of you still remembered it.

Before I began writing, I looked up a great deal of material about Lord of Mysteries, including Chu Zhaolan's various analysis videos on Bilibili, which were all part of my reference library.

Then, based on the story Timeline of Lord of Mysteries, I made a fairly detailed outline before finally starting to write.

Over these past two-plus years, although I ran into a few emergencies, Ming Huo only ever took at most one day off for one chapter, and I always made them up afterward... In terms of perseverance, I hadn't missed a single update in over 700 days. I was a little proud of that~~ Haha.

Also, I might not have handled the beginning of this novel very well, which brought in a lot of insults. But some of it really was foreshadowing for later, so I didn't change it. It would be even harder to change now. All I can say is that I'll pay more attention to it in my next book.

And since this was my first time writing something this long, I didn't have a very good grasp of the pacing either. A lot of the foreshadowing was planted so long ago that everyone had forgotten it by the end.

But some of it really was deliberately buried quite deeply, only suitable for readers who truly liked this book to dig up.
