On the way to the living room, looking through the first-floor window toward the garden outside, Fors said sincerely to Xio:

"This is the residence of my dreams. When I have enough money, I'm going to buy a house like this in Backlund too."

Following her friend's gaze and looking outside, Xio lowered her voice and said:

"I lived in a place like this when I was little..."

After speaking, she realized that she seemed somewhat uncomposed and hurriedly changed the subject. "I thought you'd say you wanted to buy a manor in the suburbs or some other place with great scenery."

"No, I'd choose Backlund because the food here is more abundant and convenient," Fors said with a deadpan, serious look.

Because the door was not fully closed, they easily saw the situation inside through the gap.

Greeting their eyes was a girl in her early twenties wearing a lace-trimmed, low-cut gown. At that moment, she was leaning close to Abner's front, pretending to look very curious as she asked some questions.

Seeing this scene, Xio frowned and came to a halt.

"What's wrong?" Fors asked in surprise.

"That woman has traces of 'chaos' and 'madness' on her..." Xio answered, pointing at the girl lingering around Abner.

Hearing this, Fors looked the young lady over and said hesitatingly, "She seems to just be an ordinary person..."

"Who says ordinary people can't be 'chaotic' or 'mad'? Many such people are actually more dangerous than Beyonders." As she spoke, Xio's expression turned serious as well. She pushed open the half-open door and walked into the living room.

Abner was originally being annoyed to death by Miss Aileen in front of him. Seeing Xio walk in
