Sealed Away

Layers of color swept past. Abner felt himself racing through a bizarre, dazzling world. Though it wasn't his first time, he still found it fascinating.

Unfortunately, even with the Pure White Eye activated, he still couldn't fully analyze the ability, much less learn it. He doubted he could even think about doing so before becoming a demigod.

Soon, Abner noticed that the abstract scene ahead, made up of dense black and overlapping shadows, was growing familiar. After a moment's thought, he vaguely recognized it as somewhere near Konwa Town.

Just then, Mr. Azik stopped. His voice was somewhat grave as he said:

"The spirits here tell me there's danger."

Danger? Even Mr. Azik senses danger? Is it the baron's ancestor sleeping deep within Calderón? Or the Underworld Contamination?

Several possibilities flashed through Abner's mind.

Mr. Azik half-closed his eyes for two seconds, then opened them and said:

"The greatest danger seems to have passed... Hmm, it shouldn't be a problem. Let's go in."

Despite grumbling inwardly, Abner chose to trust the Death Archon. After all, even though Mr. Azik had lost most of his memories and his fighting strength had fallen sharply, he was still an angel at his core.

In the blink of an eye, Abner found himself back at the entrance to the baron's castle ruins, which he had filled in with Fanny and Emma several weeks earlier.
