Klein nodded without betraying anything as he listened to The Tower's explanation, but he immediately complained to himself:

Why lump them into the "Weirdness" Category just because their methods are "weird"? Aren't the methods of Mutants and Devils even weirder? Why not put them in that Category too?

That explanation is such a stretch! It's like he's trying to make it obvious he's brushing us off!

Complaints aside, Klein seriously considered why The Tower had done so:

Alger, The Hanged Man, also noticed The Tower's evasive attitude, but he reached that conclusion even faster than The Fool himself.

He scoffed inwardly and tried to work out the connection himself. But after thinking it over, he realized how superficial his knowledge of those three Pathways was. He had only a rough idea of some Sequence 9 and Sequence 8 abilities. Beyond that, he knew nothing...

Beyonders of those three Pathways seem rare... Going by the Law of Conservation of Beyonder Characteristics and Adjacent Pathways that Mr. Fool just explained... Does that mean their High-Sequence Beyonders are numerous and concentrated somewhere, leaving fewer at the middle and lower Sequences?

While Alger's thoughts wandered, Miss Justice had largely digested Abner's words. She nodded with reserved elegance. "Thank you for the explanation, Mr. Tower."
