"The Card of Blasphemy?" Alger froze for a moment at the term, then seemed to remember something. He asked, his voice a little hurried, "Mr. Tower, do you mean the deck Emperor Roselle made—the cards said to conceal the mysteries of the twenty-two Paths of the Divine?"

At the Hanged Man's question, Justice and Judgment both turned toward The Tower, waiting for his answer.

They had both heard rumors that Roselle had made a secret deck of cards symbolizing unknown powers. Even the twenty-two major arcana of today's Tarot Cards had been modeled on that hidden deck.

"That's right. Emperor Roselle saw the second Blasphemy Slate and used it to make that legendary deck... That's why I call them the Cards of Blasphemy," Abner confirmed with a nod.

In the Tarot Club's earliest meetings, the Hanged Man, Alger, had already told the Fool and Justice about the Blasphemy Slate. So neither was surprised to hear there was a second one. What they urgently wanted to know was how Mr. Tower had concluded that Qilingus had tried to assassinate the duke for a Card of Blasphemy.

Miss Judgment knew nothing about the Blasphemy Slate, but everyone else seemed familiar with it, so she maintained a calm expression. In truth, she committed what she did not understand to memory, planning to ask Abner about it afterward.

Only the Sun looked genuinely lost. He had no idea what cards were, let alone what they had to do with blasphemy.

Seeing everyone looking at him, Abner stopped keeping them in suspense. Mixing truth with speculation, he said:

"When I used Spirit Channeling on that Serial Killer, I learned something.

"An ancient, mysterious organization was offering the Abyss Card from the Cards of Blasphemy as a reward to lure members of the Blood Sanctify Sect
